Have you ever seen anything more beautiful than this Iced Tea Latte?
This right here is a thing of beauty. What started out as a need to be accepted by society. To hang with the cool kids. Who drinks a hot beverage in the Summer months anyways? I couldn’t go about sipping my Tea Lattes all day this Summer even though it’s what I wanted to do. I had to find a way to get my tea craving in an iced cold bevvy.
That is when the Iced Tea Latte was made. I got creative, got smart and I made the drink of the Summer! Thank me with a grocery store gift card because this kid right here is going through Almond Milk like it’s candy!
We got our hands on the Milk Cafe by Breville last month and we could not wait to jump right in, giving up our regular morning tea for a fancy-smancy morning Latte. After a few weeks of complete and utter beverage bliss I realized I would soon be giving up my new normal when the temperatures started to rise. Nobody wants a hot tea when the weather man tells us it’s going to be a balming 29 degrees out. Not this girl anyways!
I set out to find a better alternative for this tea sipper to savor on in the Summer months. It’s when I thought Iced Tea, but not just any old Iced Tea but an Iced Tea Latte! Yes, yes I was born this brilliant.
I sourced out these adorable ice cube balls and bought them. Why round cubes you ask? Got the tip from a Whiskey drinker, apparently round ice cubes take longer to melt. A colder drink for longer? Sold me. I got to steeping and testing and created the perfect Iced Tea Latte Recipe EVER!
I’ve made you scroll (and drool) long enough. The wait is over. Without further ado, here is your Iced Tea Latte Recipe you just have to have. THAT and this Milk Frother from Breville. My life will never be the same now that the Milk Cafe is in it.
>> ICED TEA LATTE RECIPE <<
- Almond Milk (vanilla)
- Tea (your favorite, steeped)
- Tea Ice Cubes
- Froth your Almond Milk in the Milk Cafe on the cold setting using the Cappicino Frothing Disc (it creates no foam, unlike the latte disk that create a gorgeous milky foam).
- Place 1 or 2 Tea Ice Cubes in your cup.
- Pour a small amount of cold steeped tea in your cup along with the ice cubes, around 1/4 cup.
- Top with your frothed Almond Milk, sip and enjoy!
If you’re considering buying a milk frother, I can’t recommend this one enough. The Breville Milk Cafe is the perfect little kitchen gadget I feel any tea of coffee conessuire would love to have. Coming with 2 seperate frothing discs, 1 for a thick gorgeous foam and the other for making milk smooth and foamless; this Milk Cafe has turned my tea sipping world upside down.

This is definitely a brilliant area! I love iced tea latte, but I’ve never tried THIS kind of iced tea latte. I mean, it’s easy to make and it’s definitely different than the rest of the tea latte out there. In fact, this is so unique that I could actually think of it as a business prospect in this part of the world. Thank you so much for sharing, I’ll definitely try this out! 😀
