We’ve had such nice weather here in Vancouver, it’s hard to believe all the threats the weather man has been throwing our way. However nothing has come of it, not until last week!
We got hit with the biggest, most UNEXPECTED SNOW STORM here in Vancouver. And the best way for me to explain, is in a vlog. I mean, honestly would you believe me if I told you the sun was shining at 2:00pm but by 7:00pm we had nearly a foot of snow?

I live in Canada. Snow is something we expect every winter and most of us accept it with open arms. But this snow storm was different. It came out of nowhere and nobody was ready. At least not in this family.
This snow storm came with another little present; 2 days of the kids home from school. Day 1 was pretty fantastic, filled with sledding and olaf building. Day 2 was a little less fantastic, it got colder and harder to stay outside for long. So really we were just stuck inside, watching the snow storm from the living room window.
Things got better when we found that we had ingredients for a red velvet cake. But still, Vancouver’s Snow Storm has been celebrated and now has overstayed it’s welcome. You can go now, anytime.
