Spring is here… which means Spring Clothing for the family is at the top of many lists.
As you know you’re the best person for the job, take the initiative and go through all everyone’s wardrobes, donate what no longer fits, sell what still has tags (I can’t be the only one) and start a list of what everyone needs for the warmer weather ahead.
For me, kids clothing has to be 2 things, AFFORDABLE and TRENDY. I have 2 little girls who want nothing more than to express themselves through style. A tutu atop their favorite jeans, paired with a Star Wars tee and mis-matched shoes; this is not an abnormal look for either of my girls. I mean do you blame them, I’d be doing this too if society wouldn’t assume I was between shifts as a birthday performer. I love nothing more than to let my girls dress themselves. It not only gives them a feeling of independence but it allows me 5 minutes to put myself together.
Let’s talk H&M for a moment? After all, our favorite kids vest is from there (still going strong after nearly 4 years). I doubt there is any parent out there that doesn’t already know this, but tell me, how brilliant is H&M for their Kids Clothing?! Always affordable and ridiculously adorable. It’s why when I need to update our wardrobes, for Spring Clothing I think nothing more than a simple trip to H&M.
At these prices I won’t feel obligated to say no when she asks if she can get a matching boa for her outfit. YES PEOPLE! This is what I am up against. Clearly were choosing our battles, and thanks to H&M’s prices this is not one I have to fight.
What I also love about H&M, is their curated outfits. Their already made, pieced together, one-price tag outfits (like this or this). This can make the whole shopping as a family for Spring Clothing so very painless. We can be in and out in an hour and have multiple outfits that I know will look put together and can easily be taken apart and mixed with current wardrobe favorites.
As if their regular prices were not great in itself, H&M always seems to be running a sale when it matters most. From March 22 to April 5, every shopper can enjoy 20% off their entire H&M Kids purchase of $60 or more (in store only, or online between April 6th – 8th). If you’re like me, more of a visual appreciator, think of buying $200 worth of clothing but only paying $160!
What you can spend your $40 savings on?
- 3 of these crazy soft tee’s (1 in each color)
- This adorable swimsuit with the most perfect ruffles
- 2 pairs of these Spring Mules (1 in black and 1 in beige)
- This gorgeous carry-all handbag
OR if all else fails…
- 8 Grande Earl Grey Lattes from Starbucks

Are you more of an online shopper or do you prefer to go in-store and make your purchases for yourself and the family? I, myself am more of an online shopper, mostly for convenience, but when sales like these ones come up, I can’t pass them up.

Kids clothes are so dang cute! I miss those days. I may have to hit up my local H&M to see what pretties I can find for my almost 4 yr old niece.

When it comes to shopping for clothing for myself, I like to go instore, but I bet as a busy parent, on-line is the best way to go! … p.s. I love H&M as well – always great style and economical.
