LEGO Build + Snacks + Sunday = PERFECTION
Our Sunday’s are usually pretty low-key, by choice. A typical lazy Sunday if you will. However, now that I see this vlog, it may not come off that way to you. It’s funny how things changes after having kids. Believe it or not, this is a pretty slow day for us. And I’m sure many other parents will agree, lazy Sundays have changed for them too over the years.
We wanted to share with you what a typical Sunday looked like at our house. For instance, slow mornings, snack platters vs. sit down meals, prepping for the week ahead, going to a walk, cleaning house and a big ol’ LEGO Build.
We’ve had this Harry Potter LEGO set for a few weeks now and all of us have been dying to dive in. However, we’ve not have the time until this past Sunday. So we thought, it would be a perfect day for a LEGO Build time lapse.
Do you like LEGO? I find this to be just the perfect little project to do as a family. While Stella is still pretty young, I find that as long as we build a piece for her to play early on, she will stick with it all day.
This LEGO build took up the entire day. In our defense however, we did split it up. For instance, I did the first half with the girls. While Sammy tackled the second half. We took a little break midday to get some fresh air and shake our sillies out. A backyard swing does a fine job at this. Similarly, so does your best friends puppy.
