Over the past 3 years, we have started a tradition with my parents. We hunt and cut down a Tree Christmas the weekend of our Anniversaries. You see, when Sammy and I got married, all we knew was we wanted a Winter Wedding. Then when I realized that my parents anniversary fell on a Saturday that year in December, it was a no-brainer. Our Wedding would be December 6th, no if’s and’s or but’s. My parents have paved an incredible path for me as an individual, and I can only hope and dream that I will live a love story like theirs. Dated through high school, married at 18/19yrs young, named, owned and ran a Pizza Parlour together and now celebrating 37 years together – I’d say it’s pretty perfect.
We chose this year to hunt down our Tree a wee bit early as our schedules best suited. Off we went, this time with a walking baby in tow. What a difference it is to celebrate the holidays with a baby. So magical and special, I just love our little tradition we have started.
What kind of Holiday Traditions do you look forward to each Christmas?

Let me start by saying what a beautiful family you have…your mom is gorgeous, your parents are so beautiful together, and so is your little family. You guys need to be models… I mean it just doesn’t get any better than this! 🙂 Love your tradition! Every year we make sure all the kids are home to get a tree together and decorate it and hang up the stockings! 🙂

You look like you all had a fantastic time! Sofia’s coat is just so utterly cute, and your hairtie is equally adorable! How exciting to get a jump start on the Christmas season…I put up our christmas lights yesterday, I just couldn’t wait any longer! I’m only working part time so my schedule is fairly clear- let me know when you have some downtime and we’ll go for coffee!
