Birthday’s should BUZZ!
From the chatter among guests catching up, to the shrieks of excitement from the littles who’ve had far too much sugar, and the balloons that just couldn’t stand one more moment of heat… POP!
We celebrated Stella Grace’s 1st Bumble Bee Birthday over the weekend and what a lovely day it was. Some of our very closest friends and family gathered to celebrate this little bumble bee of ours and OF THE FUN that was had. From eating a delicious lunch to snacking on some sweets almost too beautiful to eat, to making stuffed unicorns and getting the most glitter’tastic tattoos (by yours truly)… but I might have to say, my favorite moment may very well be the baby who enjoyed her cake so much she needed a bath before returning to the festivities.
It was a BUZZING success (sorry guys, I had to)!

I love BIRTHDAY’S…. however being that it was my first year of planning Birthday Parties with children born in the same week made me think doing a joint birthday next year maybe the best decision for the sake of mine (and my mamas) sanity. HOLY HANNAH I’ve been in birthday mode for the last 4 weeks and I’m exhausted. That, and super stressed about all the things I’ve put on hold in life and work. So now I’m playing a fierce game of catch-up that I am already losing at. Good thing for left over birthday cake and a good cup of tea, I’m going to be digging myself out of this hold for the next little while, WISH ME LUCK!
HEY! Clearly we love going overboard on birthday parties in this house, check them all out here; from Sofia’s first hot air balloon birthday, to her fourth art party, her fifth puppy adoption birthday and finally the most recent, Sofia’s sixth birthday, theme Odd Squad!
