Changes in my life, big or small, always take a toll on my skin, and 90% of the time a change in skincare routine fixes the problem. I’m luckily unlucky that even though my skin is very sensitive I have had great luck in finding products that work for me, that are easy to get. Aveeno has sorta been my go-to skincare line over the last 7 or 8 months and both my skin and me have loved every moment of it.
This pregnancy has brought on a little bit of acne, just on my face and in all the same areas, the chin. I know that reading deeper into this, it makes sense, as acne on the chin can point towards a hormonal imbalance (thanks acne but I’m certain the random tear sessions tipped me off on the imbalance in my body). After seeing this occur over the last 3 months quite frequently, this wild popping up and then healing cycle I decided to change up the skincare routine and see if that doesn’t fix it; so far, so good.
I really do love and have had great lucky with Aveeno so I knew I wanted to try and stay with this line, thankfully I had an opportunity come knocking and I gladly accepted. You know, one of those being at the right place at the right time sorta’ things. Doesn’t happen all the time, but I take it as a sign when it does and jump through the door that has opened.
The products arrived last week and since giving them a try I’ve been acne-free. Not saying that the product does this specifically, but for me, the change in skincare routine is obviously what I needed. My face feels lovely and I can’t tell you how much better I feel when I get caught out in the sun knowing that the Daily Moisturizer has SPF 30. I’m totally that mom that packs everything for baby including stuff really not needed, forgetting all things for myself. It’s saved me on a few occasions, including last weekends visit to Seattle. The line itself, Aveeno’s Absolutely Ageless Collection is meant to help improve the appearance of line, wrinkles and other signs of aging as it contains breakthrough ingredients to help nourish the skin with nutrients to keep it looking and feeling healthy.
VERDICT: I wouldn’t say I had much for wrinkles, more fine lines and I think we’re still too early for that, but what I can tell you is my skin definitely feels nourished, healthy & acne-free. That in my books is a win!
