I was lucky enough to try some major components of the Michael Todd True Organics skincare line. A cleaners, a toner, a scrub, a mask and a serum. Waiting on their arrival, I did my due diligence as a beauty conscious woman on not only the brand, but the ingredient and what others are saying about Michael Todd True Organics. The days it took in transit was more than enough time for me to determine that this was one of those skincare lines you don’t pass up on.
I took many things into consideration when it came deciding if this product was a keeper before I even tried it:
1. Cost; was it affordable enough to use this year round
2. Ingredient; was a good portion, if not all, organic
3. Reviews; did people have good things to say about it, were their any celebrities who admit to using the product
4. Customer Service; did I have a good experience when dealing with their customer service
The product arrived and I couldn’t be more excited. All the research I had done panned on the positive side, so as long as I didn’t break out in an uncontrollable rash, or have a post breakout resembling horrible weeks from high school, Michael Todd would win my heart.
Day 1 was an eye-opener. I am almost embarrassed to say it, but I wonder how clean my skin was actually getting in the past, because not only did my face look fresh, but the feeling was like no other. I don’t want to bad mouth the product in which currently sits in our trash can, but the difference I felt when running my hands over my freshly washed face was incredible. Was my face never actually cleaned before? The best way to describe it is, my skin felt pure, like as if their was absolutely nothing on it, you don’t know this until you have cleaned with something that obviously does it’s job well. But the comparison is beyond noticeable. After a good cleanse with the Honey and Oat Cleaner, I used the Blue Green Algae Toner; and to my surprise it was nor blue or green. After using the toner, my face felt the best it ever has in its rawest state. Day 1 I finished off with the Knu anti-aging serum, I now know what it’s backed up by so many big name celebs. This should really be called liquid gold. After using the 3 pieces from Michael Todd True Organics, I called it a night.
Day 2 and 3 I was actually in the woods, glamping, and enjoying family time {see here}. Luckily this camping trip had access to all of life’s little luxuries, like a fully loaded kitchen, a hot tub, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a sink and running water. I continued with my same routine as explained in Day 1. It wasn’t until Day 4 that I tried out the Kaolin “Detoxing” Clay Mask. Timing couldn’t have been any better, considering all the sweets I inhaled over the course of 48 hours when calories didn’t count.
Day 4 I was actually really very nervous about trying the Kaolin “Detoxing” Clay Mask. Not because I was worried about how my face would react with a first time detox, but simply the fear of failure. With how much success I was having with the other products in the Michael Todd line, I feared great success was going to soon end? Yes lovelies I can be a pessimist sometimes. I put the mask on just after putting Sofia Marie down for the night, and just before the man got home from the night shift. It was the perfect time to force some relaxation from the busy day, just before curling up into bed. The mask hindered me from smiling, giggling, and defiantly carrying on a conversation of any sort, so it was a good thing I was alone. It firmed right up, and felt as if it was tightening up my face. It was really quite an awesome feeling; I must admit. I left it on for the 15 minutes it had suggested, and headed to the ensuite for the reveal. The wash off?! Well it was luxurious to say the least. Leaving silky smooth skin that felt rejuvenated, baby smooth, like silk; it’s really the best way I can describe it. Success!
Now I won’t lie, as it’s not my style, I’ve yet to try the scrub, due to simply being a mom and wishing their were more time in the day, but after batting success with 4 out of the 5, I am pretty positive it’s going to be better than I have ever expected. Curious to know why I have the 5 pieces that I do, well after speaking with a Michael Todd Customer Service agent I explained my skin type was a combination, with tendency to be dry and sensitive and she suggested all the products I am using today. Here are some more details on each of the items I am now calling my forever-skin-team:
Honey & Oat; gentle deep-pore cleanser {70% Organic}

A soft purifying clay mask using the exceptional absorbent properties of French green and white and pink Kaolin clays to detoxify the skin, replace minerals and improve skin tone without dryness or irritation. Tightens pores and significantly improves smoothness. Also balances oiliness and aids in the elimination of blemishes.
Tropical Fruit Scrub; hydrating exfoliant scrub {96% Organic}
Naturally fruity refreshing skin treatment that uses the power of Papaya and Pineapple Enzymes as a mild non-irritating exfoliant to remove dead skin, impurities and toxins without irritation caused by scrubbing. Exfoliates, moisturizes and firms, improves elasticity and pliability of the skin, unclogs pores allowing skin to breathe and facilitates movement of skin oils.
I speak of the truth in all that I have said, I truly believe that Michael Todd True Organics is an incredible skincare line and I cannot wait to try more of what they have. My wish list has already started to compile. Those of you that know me personally, and those of you who know me strictly as a blogging voice know I stand behind my reviews whole-heartedly, and I am a true believe that “if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all”. Those products I have tried, tasted, or worn that I don’t personally love, I just don’t post about. It’s really that simple.
If you’re looking for a new skincare routine, whether you are not happy with the one you currently have, or don’t really have one that you have stuck to. I urge you to give Michael Todd True Organics a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed. My skin has never felt or looked better, ask anyone that bumps into me at 8am at the grocery store, those days of no makeup are now just another way of saying, today I will confidently go naturally beautiful.

Its like you learn my thoughts! You appear to know so much about this, like you
wrote the e book in it or something. I believe that you simply can do with some % to drive the message house a bit,
but other than that, this is wonderful blog. A great read.
I will definitely be back.
Great site you have got here.. It’s hard to
find high quality writing like yours nowadays. I really appreciate
individuals like you! Take care!!
Hi, I was wondering how long the products lasted you until you had to purchase them again? Thank you.
Hello Christina!
I am actually STILL using the first order I placed. I am running low on the everyday wash and toner, so I would say they lasted me 2.5 months and longer for the face mask and scrub as you don’t use these daily. I hope that helps.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and
was wondering what all is needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a
pretty penny? I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% certain.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Great blog! I am also a lover of Michael Todd True Organics products. Check out this video with a Knu serum review. They are offering a deal that is unbelievable http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noCvhHogvzs
I got a sample of pumpkin mask, very strange giving tomato smell. Once applied on face like chilli feel and painful, wash off immediately. Totally not recommend!
Sorry to hear that Kwong! I have not tried this mask, however not every product is for every skin type.
I hope you contacted them, gave them some incite on your skin type and had them suggest what to try — their product is really unbelievable.

I rarely comment, however i did some searching and wound up here REVIEW: Michael Todd True Organics.
And I actually do have a few questions for you if you don’t mind.

written by brain dead individuals? 😛 And, if you are posting on other online sites, I’d
like to keep up with anything new you have to post. Could you make a list of
the complete urls of your public pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page

We stumbled over here by a different web page and thought I should check things
out. I like what I see so i am just following you. Look forward to looking into your web page again.
Michael Todd may or may not have great products, but you sure can’t get an email to them or contact them in any way. And they send emails with great sales of the products two days after it expires. My email to them was automatically referred to their website, which in turn gave me an error code, so I couldn’t get to it that way. I tried going to it on my own through Google and when I got there, none of the tabs worked. I clicked on every one of them and nothing happened. My computer is working fine everywhere else. I would be very reluctant to send money (especially as much as their products cost regularly) when I can’t get in touch with them. Also, sending emails about sales after it ends isn’t cool. It doesn’t say much for the company overall.
Okay first of all your hair is AMAZING!! <3 <3 <3 So gorgeous. I have had some hits and misses with Michael Todd but the Honey & Oat cleanser is a favourite. We did a Michael Todd first Impressions post, please check it out if you get the chance xoxo 🙂 http://beautifulbedlamblog.com/?p=231
