I’ve 100% been that mom, sharing a photo online for the world to play “guess that rash“. Kids Eczema is no joke. Flare-ups are sometimes unexpected and you’re left wondering if you can be doing more.

Sammy and I foolishly believed that Eczema would spare our children. Because it was clearly one of those pre-parenthood dreams that had us convinced. Similarly, the same dreams where we saw ourselves sleeping through the night and I could breastfeed like a boss.
What were we thinking? We have all, at some point suffered from Eczema in our family. We’re absolutely no strangers to sensitive skin.
It’s why were so thankful to have stumbled across Kids Eczema Skincare line from Flexitol, called Happy Little Bodies. With 3 incredible products in their line, you can easily include this into your everyday routines. From a Body Wash & Shampoo, to a daily Moisturizing Lotion, and a Relief Cream used for flare-ups. Flexitol’s Happy Little Bodies has your families back.
FUNNY STORY; because of the girls skin sensitivities and extra body pampering they’ve got since birth, Sofia and Stella LOVE a good foot and body massage. The other day, Stella asked for a “long foot squish”. We dropped our afternoon plans and pulled out our little at-home spa goodies. Pedicures all around.
Flexitol’s Happy Little Bodies Eczema Moisturizing Lotion soothes your children’s skin all while keeping is moisturized. Anyone that knows Eczema well, knows the key to living itch-free is keeping the skin moisturized. It’s 24-hour moisture lock helps build a barrier against sensitive skin irritants which for kids can be found almost anywhere. It contains colloidal oatmeal, which keeps the skin soothed, yet still gentle enough for daily use.

In the cooler months, for instance Fall and Winter here in Vancouver, we’ve just simply added this into our nightly routine. Fresh out of the bath, both girls get lathered up with their Moisturizing Lotion and any flare-ups tended to with Relief Cream. However I’m happy to report we’ve only had 1 this year for both girls.
Funny how once you stay on top of it, you rarely ever have to deal with it.
If we do have a flare-up, which is almost a guarantee when we a) transition from Summer to Fall, b) overdress in the winter or c) wear our favorite knit sweater we love so dearly, that doesn’t love us back. Now we at least have a plan. One that doesn’t include a steroid cream. Hashtag PARENT WIN. Flexitol’s Eczema Relief Cream provides instant gratification on the effected area, however it’s gentle enough that it can be used 3 to 4 times a day for soothing relief.
In other words, this little trio has helped our family dearly. Kids Eczema is truly no joke. I like to think as a parent that I have some things figured out. It helps in balancing out the feeling of not knowing so much. Happy Little Bodies is the one thing I do know that works for us. Similarly, we’re so happy to share it with you. Above all we hope that it will help those who too struggle with Eczema and sensitive skin.

I’ve never heard of Flexitol until now. Thanks for sharing. I have 3 kids with eczema, they all started around 3 month. My older children have “outgrown” their eczema. My youngest, almost a year old now, is doing better but we’re stilling dealing with it. How old were your kids when their eczema started?

We’re so happy to be able to bring this to your attention. We absolutely LOVE Happy Little Bodies. Our eldest who is now 8 got her first flare-up between 4 and 6 months. I forget the exact age. And our youngest who is 3 now got her first at about a year. It’s heart breaking! I’m so glad to hear that your older kids grew out of it. I feel like maybe we have some hope too 😉
