The year I buy 400 mini chocolate bars for Halloween is the year we get nobody. The world is clearly telling me I need to indulge more in the midnight snack.
Has the door knocking and fireworks traditions died? Did I miss the memo that Halloween is cancelled?
We got all of 12 trick-or-treaters at our door this year. From past years where we hit 60, 70 and even 100 this is a huge hit. I don’t get what has happened, it’s a tad disappointing to say the least!
I mean, it didn’t stop us from having a good time. We went out, we knocked on doors, we cleaned up. And all thanks to the lack of participants in Halloween this year, homes were unloading their candy on us. Sofia and Stella had no problems with this, not even a little.
We had an awesome time! Stella’s first offical Halloween will go down in the books as being a success. She did almost the entire neighborhood, stayed up almost 2 hours past her bedtime and ate more candy than any 2 year old ever should in one day.
And… there is a vlog to prove it!
