I was so lucky to get the chance to Review a Custom Photo Book from Mixbook. I spent a good 3 hours with my husband creating what we wanted for Sofia’s Baby Shower Guest Book. Our idea what to make it more like a story book that Popee could read to her one day, on how we met and how her story began. We got all Dr. Suess’d and starting to use the rhyming and silly sides of our brains. We had a blast!


After completing what we thought was a complete masterpiece, waiting on our children book contract, we sent it in to Mixbooks. How easy it was to work their website. No word of a lie, extremely easy and so much fun. With pre-programmed fonts, images, shapes, layouts you pretty much are guaranteed a perfect book each and every time. 



I knew the website was flawless however the proof would be in the pudding once the actual book arrived in my hands, and thanks to the postal strike here in Canada it did take longer than I wanted, but I was very patient and didn’t cause a commotion. What I did think was Fabulous was one of the Customer Service Reps with Mix Book followed up with me to make sure I knew it was on its way, but due to the strike it would take a “wee-bit” longer. He was very helpful and kept me calm when all I really wanted to do was go to Canada Post Head Office and demand they let me in so I could see my book!


It was no doubt worth the wait. The book arrived and is Brilliant. And I am not saying this because Sammy and I were the designers. I mean the quality of the book the Hard Cover, Glossy and Golden, the Interior Pages, Thick and Smooth, the Ink, Bold and Crisp… everything about the book was perfect! I couldn’t be happier and more in love with Mixbooks right now! If ANYONE is in the market to pull out a little Martha Stuart in them and wants to get crafty without the scrapbooking mess, let me tell you – MIXBOOKS IS YOUR ANSWER!
