FACT; we’re absolutely no strangers to monthly subscriptions!
We’ve tried snack boxes, healthy snack options delivered to your door each month, we’ve tried and still currently hold a subscription to Chirp Magazine, an oldie but a goodie (I used to get owl magazine myself as a child and just loved it). We’ve tried sticker clubs, makeup bags and now we can add books to that growing list.
When it comes to monthly subscriptions, really the skies the limit to what you can have delivered to your door on a continual basis bringing smiles to your lives (as long as you pay the bill). You know, it’s nice to have one of these little packages worked into your regular programming of bills and advertising, and I have no doubt that these little monthly subscriptions will add just the right amount of surprise and excitement you life! They do for us.

We believe, as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle did that:
“It is a great thing to start life with a small number of really good books which are your very own.”
Our mission is to enable and empower parents to build their children’s book collections in an affordable and exciting way through curated monthly book deliveries. We believe in the power and impact of the written word in the life of a child, and believe it’s never too early to start reading to children!
We received our first subscription to Bookroo last month and Sofia has been telling her friends all about it since it’s grand arrival. “This package, it was at our door, and when I opened it there were 3 fancy packed books for me and my sister. I got to open them because she’s still in my mums tummy, but I’m sure she’d be okay with that since I left them in her room to read when she comes.”
Bookroo come delivered in this adorable packaging that’s a present in itself, which Sofia and I both agreed that unwrapping them slowly would help save the paper which we could totally craft with later. Yes! We’re those people. #nowyouknow The books that we were sent last month was from their “board book” subscription as we thought it would be nice to get a few more of these in our personal library considering our newest addition on the way. She would soon want to venture into the world of books just like Sofia and likely her mouth would get the first taste of that. The books are adorable, the images are magical and the quality of the books themselves are exactly that you would find at a bookstore.
We’re all very much anticipating next months Bookroo delivery, this time will get to sample their “picture books” subscription, which typically is geared more towards kids ages 2 to 6. Sofia is all about books and has since she was born, I have no doubt it has a little something to do with the fact that Sammy used to read her stories while still in my tummy. And maybe also a little bit to do with our “book before bed” ritual which started before she turned one and is still going strong. Other than a few missed evenings for some sick-days which made sleep more important, I mean for real, this kid knows the most random books word for word and I couldn’t be more proud.
We’re all very much excited to be increasing the size of our personal library each month, one Bookroo box at a time. It’s already opened our eyes up to new authors and fun story lines, and isn’t this what reading is all about, being swept off our feet with dreamy images and elaborate words?
Disclosure :: This post was sponsored by Bookroo, as always the opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Now this is a monthly subscription made just for me! {Not that I need any help building our children’s book collection – #TRUTH.} I love that they’ve taken the extra time to wrap each one too… That makes it so much more fun!
