It’s Summer Break, which means late nights, lazy mornings, and ALL THE SLIME!
I’ve been promising Sofia that come Summer Break I will make all the Slime she wants. This was in April. You’d think she would’ve forgotten by now. NOPE! Not this kid. So here I am, on the hunt for an EASY SLIME RECIPE, and would you believe I found it. Day 2 of Summer Break and I found the easiest, most mess-free Slime Recipe ever!
This easy slime recipe is so simple, even Stella can make it!
EASY Slime Recipe
1/4 cup White Glue + 1/4 cup Warm Water
2 tsp Borax + 1/2 cup Warm Water
1/2 cup Foam Beads
Food Coloring
Method
- Combine 2 tsp of Borax with 1/2 cup of very warm water, and mix until dissolved.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1/4 cup of White Glue with 1/4 cup of Warm Water. Once fully combined, add in Foam Beads. At this point, if you would like to color your Slime, add in several drops of Food Coloring now.
- Pour Glue/Bead mixture into a ziploc bag, and then add the Borax mixture. Seal the bag and squish until combined.
- Once it comes together pull it out of the bag and work it into a good consistency.
Notes
There will be left over Borax Water in the ziploc bag. This is okay. It will only take what it needs to come together.
I have a very good feeling that this recipe will be our base to many more slime concoctions. It just turned out so awesome… that and the fact that I bought a COSTCO SIZE White Glue that needs to get used. AND WAIT! Did you see Stella talking to the camera? Stealing the show in the car? How about the intro to making the Slime. I mean seriously. WHO IS THIS KID?! Too cute.
