So I had this idea in the midst of watching The Polar Express for the gazillionth time, I need some framed prints in my home for the holidays, ones that show the true Polar Express fans we are {because as if the dvd on repeat in the car and at home wasn’t proof enough}. While I sat through the movie this time, I listened very close to words and phrases those ‘magical’ moments you get in a good holiday movie that make you feel all warm and tingly inside. Their were two; two major moments that stuck with me, and this is where my creative juices took over.
“the bell still rings for me, as it does for all who truly believe”
“sometimes the most real things in the world, are the thing we can’t see”
Of course I couldn’t do this alone, I knew I had to enlist in more creative minds, so I reached out to my buddy Stacy at Julian & Jinks. Told her my thoughts, and she ran with it; did I tell you she was a good runner?! She came to me with three amazing 5×7 prints that could easily put her and I both at the top of the official “biggest polar express fan” list, and if this list does not exist, it does now my friends.
This DIY does not need a whole lot of instruction, if any at all. The prints are already made for you, all you need to do is send them to a printers of your choice, frame them up in something that matches the style of your home, and add in your token “believe-bell”. My initial thought was to put our believe print in a shadow box, however all the shadow boxes I found were all too simple for me. What I wanted was a more ornate styled frame, so I went with two matching 5×7 frames in black, and hung my bell on the outside. I glued the bell to the glass frame with a hot glue gun as I foresaw this as a perfect midnight cat toy for olly-man. If you have mischievous pets, I suggest the the same step be added to your project.
WAIT, COME BACK!
I almost forgot! Stacy from Julian & Jinks was nice enough to give away a set of these Polar Express prints to one of my readers today. Enter below, and come Saturday we will choose a winner. If it ain’t you, feel free to purchase a set here, in her ridiculously amazing etsy shop. I’ve got three of her prints sprinkled around my home and get compliments on them ALL THE TIME. This one here is in my washroom, this one is in my kitchen, and this one here is in our master bedroom. I love this girl, she’s so stinkin’ talented!

Gotta say, I’m loving the ‘Carpe Librum: Seize the book’ print. It’d look pretty awesome in my living room. Close second is the ‘You are my sunshine’ print thought.
Psst. Loving the bell you used with your print.

I love the ‘Seize the Book’ print too…I’d like it right above my office door, to give a glimpse of what lies within…
