Dying anything brings on serious excitement in this household. Clothing, hair, mason jars, flowers; it’s the anticipation of the final product that makes this DIY so much fun. But it takes a toddler to make this experiment magical. I was inspired when I stumbled across a blog post via Dream a Little Bigger, I knew this was something I wanted to do with Sofia Marie. She would love every aspect, from picking and paying for the flowers, to the coloring of the water, and to the cutting of the stems. It’s the “waiting” I knew she would not approve of. However every child must learn it at some point in time, so why not now. The payoff will be beautiful and therefore learning patients with a positive outcome is always a great place to start I say.
Have you tried dying flowers with your babes?
This is such a fun idea, my son will love it! I’d love to have you share this or any of your amazing posts at our weekly Super Saturday Link Party. It starts Friday’s at 3pm, hope we see you there!
(Please remember to add a link to Made From Pinterest at the end of your post!)
Your flowers turned out so pretty, my son would love to do this too – he’s quite the little gardener!
This is very cool, love the presentation!
