I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING; I thought you said you were on vacation until the 27th. This is true, I am, BUT we did put out another vlog today on our YouTube Channel and I did not want you missing it. It’s an extra special one.
We went out this past weekend and cut down a Christmas Tree. I know! I know! SO LATE, right? But we had no choice with the tree farms not being open when our family’s schedule was clear and then we were away in Whistler for 4 days. Like many other families, we’re at the mercy of WEEKENDS when it comes to family outings and so it ended up this year that our earliest time for cutting down our Christmas Tree was this past weekend.
On the upside of things, our tree will be the FRESHEST it’s ever been for Christmas this year and we won’t be taking presents out from under the tree dressed in a million little dry needles. You know what I’m talkin’bout?! There is a silving lining in everything should you look hard enough.
Our adventure in cutting down our Christmas Tree did not start off well, the weather was dreadful, but again, it’s not like we could push it off for another weekend. It was raining hard…. or strinkling liquid snow if you’re trying to cheer up the littles who’re sopping wet. We made the most of it, I’d say!
You gotta see the adorable tree we got… yes I said ADORABLE. It’s the only describing word we’re allowed to use when talking about our Family Christmas Tree as Sofia doesn’t like us using words like small, tiny or miniscule; they’re hurtful.
