(UPDATE: we’re crushed to advise that Twelve Springs has since closed their doors due to Anaheim’s short term rental ban. As our family vacations to Disneyland are annual, I will be sure to update you as soon as we find a new incredible family home to stay.)
I’ve stayed in quite a few home rental, but never one quite like Twelve Springs.
For those of you here thinking about vacationing to Disneyland, look no further than 1 of the 13 gorgeous homes available with Twelve Springs.
We just came home from 10 glorious nights in the home so perfectly named Helena. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a pool built for a family with little ones, I can officially say it is the quintessential home away from home. Just a 10 minute drive from Disneyland itself the location is as ideal if you’re planning on staying offsite.
Can I just go straight into it? I’m that excited to share!
4 Reasons You Need To Stay With Twelve Springs;
- Fully Stocked (with families in mind)
Twelve Springs prides itself in taking the family vacation experience and making it next level. Resort Homes with every last detail considered, including garages upgraded to be the ultimate games room. Clearly their homes are crafted with families in mind. - Location (located close to Disneyland and even closer to shopping and Target)
All their homes are located close to Disneyland for the purpose of making an Anaheim vacation with your family as easy, enjoyable and as stress-free as possible. Less time spent on traveling too and more time enjoying the parks, beaches, and target. #priorities - Vacation Home Perks (pools, games room and bunk beds)
Each home is comes with so many little perks. From fully stocked games rooms, to pools, mini golf, splash pads and of course bunk beds. While on vacation kids love bunking together, I don’t know what it is. Home your littles want nothing more than a space to call their own. But hop a plane and land in Disneyland and all the sudden their spooning together sharing 1 blanket. The home we stayed at, Helena, had a games room with shuffle board, foosball and an arcade game (which got tons of use). It had a pool perfect for a family with small ones and one of the four bedrooms dedicated to sibling love, stocked with 2 sets of bunk beds. - Peace & Quiet
One of the major downfalls to staying in a hotel for me has always been how loud it is. No matter day or night a hotel is always “working”. Restaurants, pools, events, parties and late night guest check-in’s; a hotel is never asleep. When traveling without kids, this isn’t really an issue of mine, but I find it to be the biggest problem especially with early bedtimes. The nice thing about staying in a home with Twelve Springs is how quiet and calm it is. Once you get home from a 10 hour day in the park, kick up those feet, put on those questionable pajamas and sit out on the back patio, enjoy the fireworks in style.
With this review, I wanted to make sure I covered EVERYTHING. I reached out on our Facebook Page to ask what some questions were people had about renting with Twelve Springs. Both as a company or about this house in particular. I want to take a moment to answer some of these questions;
Thanks for the question Alaina. I will admit it is nice to have someone make and clean your room everyday, but I don’t love it enough to give up my own space, a private pool and peace and quiet in our own home. Nothing better than cozying up as a family, in a real living room, while I make tea in a real kitchen and watch morning cartoons. We love how “at home” we feel when we stay at home rentals. Ha! We broke nothing, and honestly, it’s no different than a hotel. And if you did, I’m sure the protocal would be the same; accidents happen.
You got it Jennifer! I hope I covered all of the questions you have have had in your head. If I missed anything please don;t hesitate to reach out and ask. Also Twelve Springs is very good at quick responces by e-mail so you can always reach out direct too. Tell Ali I say hi!
I’m so happy you asked Kirsten! Twelve Springs agreed to offer our readers a discount on their nightly rate when you mention us. How’s that for name dropping? Call or E-mail Twelve Springs and let them know you learnt about them through us, and they will give you a discount on your stay.
Very important question Jessica. I don’t because there’s take-out. Still have to get out of bed to answer the door hotel, or home rental, so I’m going to say NO. I do not miss room service.
Great question Cece! The home we stayed at was perfect situated for multiple families. It had a mastersuite on one side of the home seperated by a kitchen and living space and then the other 3 bedrooms and bathroom on the other end of the house. If you are splitting the home with family or friends, I say reach out to Twelve Springs and let them know and maybe they can suggest the best home for something like this.
I got so many private messages and comments on our posts with questions about our stay with Twelve Springs. I hope I answered them all and if I missed anything please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you by any chance missed the extremely impromptu house tour I gave on Instastories the night before we left DON’T WORRY! I uploaded it to our highlights reel for you to check out once again.
