HEY YOU GUYS! How hot is it where you are? I cannot believe it’s only the first few days of Summer and here in Vancouver we’ve hit 34 °C, that’s 93 °F, isn’t that NUTS?!
Steaks marinating, veggies skewered, watermelon cut, sun shining, music blaring… BBQ season is now in full swing and although I’d like to say we cook on the grill just for fun, sometimes it’s a survival skill (hashtag turn on the oven and get a punch in the throat).
I am by no means complaining…
BUT with this warm weather comes cooking outside, and with cooking outside brings uninvited guests!
Yes some ants do bite (ouch!), and yes some ants do cause structural damage (ca-ching!), yes they may carry germs (ewww!), but the fact of the matter is having ants traipsing across my feet as I try and enjoy dinner… ANNOYING! Many of you already know the time Sammy and I spent last year renovating our backyard, from the major patio makeover, to the DIY patio string lights and adorable custom playhouse. We spent so much of our Summer last year in renovation-mode that I am DETERMINED to make this Summer all about relaxing in the sun, enjoying the space… PEST-FREE!
